Creating ART with the Intention to Uplift, Heal and Inspire…
We are a family of Artists who have been running a traditional business for over 20 years. Working long hours… exchanging our time for money and pouring our heart and soul into our products and services.
At the end of the financial year we found we had very little to show- except a rather large tax bill that we were shocked to learn was funding things like weapons and wars!
We knew in our hearts – there must be a better way of doing business, one that included the wellbeing of people and the planet
We knew too well that lobbying to our local government was not the way positive change was going to come about any time soon – and that it was up to us as individuals and business owners to bring about that change!
The outdated model where business had been motivated primarily by profit – was no longer an option for us.
We believed it was our responsibility to take the action to ensure our business became a driving force for social, environmental and economic benefit
After being inspired by the Blake Mycoskie story- Founder of TOMS, and the person behind the idea of One for One®, a business model that helps a person in need with every product purchased, and hearing the following statement by Captain Paul Watson – The founder of Sea Shepherd; who said “Follow your dreams and use your god given talents and skills to make this a better world for tomorrow”
We made the choice to become a socially and ethically conscious enterprise
We’ve designed a receive-give model…so instead of our business efforts funding wars… it now supports positive change somewhere in the world.
A customer makes a purchase and receives a symbol of love through art and in turn gives…whether it be clean drinking water for a community, education for a disadvantaged child or seeds for the regeneration of a forest.
This is made possible through a percentage of every sale – which we allocate to causes that are aligned with The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. 17 Goals to transform our world by 2030.
